Maple Pecan Swirl Bundt Cake with Caramel Drizzle

Bringing a touch of autumn to my kitchen with this maple pecan delight. Make sure to SAVE AND SHARE to make later.

This will be a perfect slice of heaven on a plate and perfect for Thanksgiving — It will be here before you know it!

 

Ingredients I used:

For the loaf

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup Greek yogurt
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

For the Brown Sugar Swirl:

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

For the Caramel Drizzle:

  • ½ cup caramel sauce ( store bought)

Preparation:

1. Preheat and Prep:

Preheat your oven to 350°

Grease and flour a Bundt cake pan.

2. Make the Pecan Swirl:

In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, ground cinnamon and finely chopped pecans. Set this pecan swirl mixture aside.

3. Prepare the Bundt cake:

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.

 

4. Cream Butter and Sugar:

In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

5. Add Eggs and Vanilla:

Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.

6. Combine Dry Ingredients:

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with Greek yogurt, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients.

7. Add Maple Syrup and Pecans:

Stir in the maple syrup and chopped pecans.

8. Layer the Bundt cake:

Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan. Sprinkle half of the pecan swirl mixture over the batter. Top with the remaining batter and sprinkle the remaining pecan swirl mixture on top.

9. Swirl and Bake:

Use a knife to gently swirl the pecan mixture into the batter. Bake in the preheated oven for about 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

10. Caramel Drizzle:

Once the Bundt cake has cooled, drizzle caramel sauce.
