Looking for a delicious and unique way to enjoy Euro flat beans? Try these crispy Euro flat bean fries with garlic aioli! This recipe is easy to make and perfect as a healthy snack or a side dish for any meal. Plus, it’s vegan-friendly and can be made gluten-free with the right breadcrumbs.

I’ll be baking these, but I’m sure you can use an air fryer.

Ingredients I used:

  • 1 pound Euro flat beans, trimmed and dried @delfrescopure
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmigiano cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • olive oil @getkristinas

For the garlic aioli:

  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Preparation :

Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a shallow bowl, whisk together the flour, salt and pepper. In another shallow bowl, beat the eggs.

In a third shallow bowl, mix together the breadcrumbs, Parmigiano cheese, garlic powder, salt and pepper.

Dip each Euro flat bean in the flour mixture, then the egg mixture, and then the breadcrumb mixture, pressing the breadcrumbs onto the beans to coat well.

Place the coated beans on the prepared baking sheet.

Drizzle the coated beans with olive oil and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.

Meanwhile, make the garlic aioli by whisking together the yogurt, garlic, lemon juice, salt and pepper in a small bowl.

Serve the crispy Euro flat bean fries hot with the garlic aioli on the side for dipping.

Enjoy!

These crispy Euro flat bean fries are a delicious and unique way to enjoy this versatile vegetable. The garlic aioli adds a tangy and flavourful touch to the dish, making it a crowd-pleaser for any occasion.
