The festival runs from June 2nd to 4th, 2023.

– Windsor Rib and Beer Festival returns to Riverfront Festival Plaza from June 2nd to 4th, 2023. The festival draws hungry food lovers and features five award-winning competition BBQ teams, including Kentucky Smokehouse, Big Hank’s BBQ Shack, Louisiana BAR-B-QUE, Texas Jack’s BBQ Pit, Oak & Barrel, BIBBS and Bubba Lou’s. Live music will be enjoyed all weekend long and kicks off on Friday, June 2nd with Country Night.

In addition to the entertainment, festival organizers expect to feature many other mouth-watering festival foods, beer, wine and cocktails plus a lineup of live country and rock music featuring local artists.

“Northern Heat Rib Series is one of Southern Ontario’s largest summer festival tours. We are excited to be back and continuously improving our festival operations, bringing new entertainment, local acts, and heating up the grills to serve up the best festival food.” says owner and event organizer, Robyn Wilson.

While you will find winning samplings of pork and beef ribs, beef brisket, pulled pork and BBQ chicken among the offerings. The festival will also highlight an array of other food options, including festival favourites like cornbread, cotton candy, poutine and vegetarian options.

The festival’s Beer Market will feature an ice cold selection of Molson beer with a variety of domestic, craft beer, vodka cocktails as well as ready to drink alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks or beverages, so you won’t leave thirsty.

“Join us at one of our 16 festival locations, and experience food, drinks and live entertainment all weekend long.” Wilson continues, “we are ready to heat the north for another year!”

The Windsor Festival schedule runs Friday, June 2nd from 4 pm – 11 pm, Saturday, June 3rd from 12 pm – 11 pm, and Sunday, June 4th from 12 pm – 9 pm.

Live music will kick off on Friday with Country Night, Saturday with Rock the Park, and Sunday’s entertainment will be a Music Mash-up. Windsor’s line-up features local musicians Po’Boy Jeffreys and Calamity Jane, Johnny Anderson, John Atlee Band, Trio de Janeiro, Wheelhouse, Don’t Tell Cindy, The Boys and I, Hell N Back – AC/DC Tribute Band, Otis Wonder & The Hustle, Chapter 11, and Wicked Truth.
