The Senior Girls Basketball team travelled to Stratford this past week to participate in the OFSAA tournament as the SWOSSA regional champions.
The Lady Cavs advanced through the opening rounds, which included one of their best games of the season in a win over a challenging St Michael’s team to reach the quarter finals. In their final game, the girls struggled to find their rhythm versus the second-best team in Ontario and were eliminated from the tournament.
KDHS!! You can be proud of how the Girls represented your school. The team epitomized grit, sacrifice, toughness and a team first attitude.
Coach Scherer and Coach Driedger wish the Grade 12s best of luck in the future and have appreciated their commitment to KDHS basketball.
Thank you to the fans, score keepers, parents and teachers for your support this season.
A special thank you goes out to Mr. Toews and Mrs. Nurse for all the behind-the-scenes work.
Finally, the Coaches would like to thank the Harrow Hawks Alumni Association for their generous donation.
