Taste of the County: Cold Crab Dip

Cold Crab Dip

This amazing classic Cold Crab Dip is a favourite appetizer. It’s easy to create fresh, delicious homemade flavour with simple ingredients.

You’ll find that this dish is perfect for summertime entertaining.


1 package of fresh crab meat
1 shallots, finely sliced
1-2 tsp lemon zest
1-2 tsp lemon juice
1 Tbsp plain yogurt
Sea salt & cracked black pepper
Cucumber, thin slices
Radishes, thinly sliced
Fennel microgreens @ortalizafarms


  1. In a bowl combine  shredded crab meat, shallots, lemon zest, lemon juice and yogurt.
  2. Stir to combine.
  3. Season to taste with salt and pepper and place in the fridge to chill.
  4. Prepare all garnish ingredients to be ready for plating.
  5. Serve with crackers.
  6. Top with fennel microgreens.
  7. Enjoy!
