Do you need to get around the county or to and from the city? The Leamington to Windsor Transit service may be just what you’re looking for.
LTW Transit is an inter-community transit system that encompasses a route from Leamington to Windsor with stops in Kingsville and Essex. LTW makes this trip three times a day Monday through Friday, and twice on Saturdays. It does not operate on Sundays or statutory holidays.
To take a ride, you’ll just need cash to pay your fare or a transit card. LTW drivers do not carry money and cannot make change. Remember to bring the exact fare or be prepared to forfeit your change.
LTW Transit is partially funded by the Government of Ontario. Its purpose is to provide public transportation that is safe and reliable, while strengthening connections between the various communities. LTW allows people better access to education, employment, healthcare and social services.

What About COVID-19?
Employees are behind protective barriers. All passengers must move in one direction, entering at the front of the bus, and departing through the rear doors only. The exception to this is for those who need mobility assistance; they can depart through the front door.
Passengers must wear a non-medical mask when on board. This does NOT include children less than 2 years of age, or people with disabilities or medical issues that prevent the wearing of a mask.
Accessibility
The LTW bus kneels and a ramp is deployed. This provides wheelchair access. Two wheelchairs can be accommodated.
What Can I Bring on the Bus?
Bikes can’t be taken on the bus there are two spots for bikes on the exterior. Click here for more information about transit bike racks.
Strollers are allowed onboard, but children must be removed from their strollers. The strollers must be folded on the bus.

Transferring to Windsor or Leamington Buses
When they board, all LTW passengers can request a transfer ticket to the public transit system in Windsor or Leamington. The transfer is valid for two hours from the time it was issued.
In Windsor, you can go anywhere on the Transit Windsor system from St. Clair College during those two hours even if traveling on more than one bus is needed for your trip.
In Leamington, you can go to any stop along the Leamington Transit route.
