Cindy’s Home and Garden in Kingsville has announced that it will be closing its doors on March 29.

“This was not a decision made lightly. After exploring every possible option and carefully reviewing the realities of today’s economic climate, it has become clear that we cannot continue operating the business as it stands,” said a social media post.

A clearance sale on merchandise and seasonal décor throughout the store started today.

The business which has been a Kingsville staple since 1989 confirmed that gift cards and rewards points will still be honoured while the store remains open.

The closure of this popular shopping destination is a loss for the retail landscape of the town.

“Serving the Kingsville community since 1989 has been one of the greatest privileges of our lives. The relationships built here, with customers who became friends, are something we will always treasure.  The most difficult part of this decision is saying goodbye to our incredible staff. They have shown loyalty, dedication, and heart every single day. We are so deeply grateful for each of them,” the post concluded.
