Hockey fans were treated to an exciting and meaningful matchup on Sunday, January 11, as NHL Alumni faced off against local Law Enforcement at the Atlas Tube Recreation Centre.

The fundraiser game drew a strong crowd and delivered plenty of on-ice action, but its impact extended far beyond the final score.

Hosted in partnership with the Essex County OPP, the event was part of the NHL Alumni Benefit Tour which focused on bringing the community together while honouring local law enforcement officers.

The NHL Alumni Benefit Tour supports the Special Olympics and the Law Enforcement Torch Fund’s mission of providing year round sports training and athletic competition for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
