The annual Migration Festival Parade stepped off right on time at 10 a.m. Saturday morning under clear blue skies and ideal autumn weather.
The parade route along Main Street East was lined with eager spectators, families and friends who came out early to secure the best views.
Lots of colourful floats, marching bands, local service groups, the town’s fire department and the OPP celebrated Kingsville’s rich heritage and the seasonal spectacle of migration.
The marching bands provided lots of music as each entry made its way toward Lakeside Park, where the day’s festivities continue with a full lineup of children’s events, family-friendly activities and the Migration Marketplace in the pavilion.
This year’s parade once again captured the warm, small-town spirit that has defined Kingsville’s Migration Festival for decades — a reminder that tradition and community pride still take flight every fall.
