Take your first step into the world of birding by checking out a Birdwatching Kit from your library. We have kits available for both adults and kids.

An Adult Birdwatching Kit includes:
A pair of binoculars with protective case, bird identification book, local birding guide and sturdy backpack.

A Child’s Kit includes:
Durable binoculars with a case, bird identification book, packed in a handy storage tote.

How to Borrow:
Birdwatching Kits can be borrowed for up to one week.

You can place Birdwatching Kits on hold and choose to pick them up at any Essex County Locations.
