At the Leamington Council meeting of Tuesday, March 26, 2024, Council:

• Approved amendments to the Essex Power Corp. Unanimous Shareholder Agreement.

• Reappointed Councillors Tiessen and Wilkinson to the Committee of Adjustment, with a term expiring on December 31, 2024; appointed Mayor MacDonald as the alternate member, with a term expiring on December 31, 2024.

• Granted an easement to Hydro One Networks Inc., located upon a segment of the Trans Canada Trail immediately south of Mersea Road 7, Leamington.

• Appointed Mayor MacDonald and Harpreet Singh as the Municipality of Leamington Council and Community Member representatives, respectively, to the new Regional Essex County Police Services Board and indicated the process to select the at-large community representative.

• Awarded a contract for the Leamington Pollution Control Centre Turbo Blower Upgrade (Phase 2) to BGL Contractors Corp. in the amount of $779,060 excluding HST.

• Awarded a tender for a high-roof cargo van to Oxford Dodge Chrysler (1992) Ltd., in the amount of $70,398, excluding HST.
