CORRADO, Denise (née Amlin)

It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Denise Corrado on April 12, 2024 at the age of 67. Loving wife and soul companion of Robert Corrado for 42 years. Wonderful and loving Mum to Andrew (Meagan), and Nana to her pride and joy Astoria and Luca.

Daughter to Yvonne Amlin and the late Richard Amlin (2018). Daughter in Law to Luigi (1991) and Lilia (2021) Corrado. Sister to Debbie (Karl), Richard (Cindy), Cheryl (Larry), Marty (Karen), Jeff (Susie), Jackie (Dan). Denise will be missed by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and lifelong friends.

Denise was a hard-working woman who could balance any book for the many companies that she worked for, most notably Coopers & Lybrand and Teppermans where she retired after 40 years. Denise was an avid reader and had great love for dancing and gardening. Her contagious laugh will be missed by all who frequent the Fogolar Furlan Club where you could find her and Robert enjoying the company of many friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Canadian Lung Association.

Visitation took place on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. with Parish Prayers at 4:30 p.m. Visitation continued on Thursday, April 18, 2024 from 9:30 a.m. at Families First, 3260 Dougall Ave., South Windsor, (519-969-5841) until leaving for Mass at 10:30 a.m., which was held at Corpus Christi Church, 1400 Cabana Rd. W. at 11:00 a.m.

Interment followed at Windsor Memorial Gardens.
