At the Leamington Council meeting of Tuesday, November 28, 2023, Council will:

• Hold a public meeting under the Drainage Act to consider the following matter:
  • To provide for the creation of a new municipal drain branching off the Atkinson Lockery Drain.

• Hold a public meeting under the Planning Act to consider the following matters:
  • A Zoning by-law Amendment (ZBA) and Consent Application for 321 Mersea Road 5, Leamington; and
  • A ZBA and Consent Application for 539 Bruner Road, Leamington.

• Consider an amendment to the Municipal Alcohol Risk Management Policy to allow alcohol to be served on the outdoor patio at the Leamington Arts Centre.

• Consider a request for a contract to be awarded to Essex County K9 Services for Animal Control Services for the Municipality of Leamington and Town of Kingsville for a three-year term commencing on January 1, 2024.

• Consider a request for proposal for a Transit Bus to be awarded to Grande West Transportation Incorporated LTDin the amount of $646,950 excluding applicable taxes.

• Consider entering into a 1-year contract extension with M&S Janitorial Services Ltd. at the cost of $184,260 plus applicable taxes.

• Consider the 2024 Calendar of Council Meetings.

• Consider appointing Municipal Law Enforcement Officers for the provision of animal control services for the Municipality.

• Consider a report regarding 2023 property tax adjustments.

• Consider entering into an agreement with the Leamington Community Hope Centre for the Coldest Night of the Year event scheduled for February 24, 2024.

• Consider amending the Fees By-law with regard to Water Service Fees, Nature Fresh Farms Recreation Centre Fees, and Marina Fees.
