Kingsville has recently updated its Community Grant Fund policy to provide financial assistance to organizations that benefit the general public. Changes to the policy include:

• Extending the application deadline date to November 30th to be considered for the following budget year
• Providing cash grants only, to a maximum of $10,000 per applicant

Requests for in-kind assistance, such as setting up road barriers, reducing facility rental fees, or other fee waivers on Town-owned facilities, can be submitted through requests@kingsville.ca at any time.

Applicants must be a registered charitable organization, registered not-for-profit organization, or volunteer group to qualify. Funding categories include:

• Social and community services
• Seniors or youth
• Historical, arts & cultural events or organizations
• Fundraisers for municipal projects
• Community beautification and protection, or preservation of the environment
• Event sponsorship

The Town of Kingsville hopes that these changes will make it easier for organizations to request assistance.
