While we have moved into a new phase of the COVID-19 pandemic, people are still contracting the disease. At Main Street Pharmacy, our minor ailment-trained pharmacists at are able to assess if you are eligible for treatment with Paxlovid. This is an anti-viral used to treat a COVID-19 infection.

While taking Paxlovid it is still required that you isolate to prevent further spread of the virus. Paxlovid has a lot of drug interactions, so it is important when you call us for an assessment you have a complete list of medications you are taking.

This includes any prescriptions, over-the-counter or herbal supplements.

We ask that you call us for an assessment rather than coming into the pharmacy. We are happy to arrange for delivery of the medication while you are ill.

If you live, work or study in Ontario, a Paxlovid Assessment is a free service.
