Kingsville Times is a proud partner and supporter of the Windsor/Essex County Humane Society. As a non-profit organization, the WECHS depends on the generosity of our community to help pets like Bunny, a 12-year-old Domestic Shorthair mix.
Bunny is a timid, independent girl who will need lots of time to adjust to a new home and family. You will usually find her hiding out in her box away from the commotion. She would prefer a calm environment without small children where she can relax in peace.
The staff and volunteers at the shelter have been spending lots of time with Bunny during her stay, and she is starting to come out of her shell! She is quite affectionate and will leave the comfort of her cubby to get neck and chin rubs.
If you think your home will be the perfect place for Bunny, please feel free to visit the Cats & Kittens page of our website www.windsorhumane.org to fill in the online adoption application. If you do not see Bunny’s picture, she has been adopted! Please consider one of her friends who are still looking for their loving forever homes.

Strays on Streetcorners is coming up fast!
June 1-3 our volunteers will take to the streets of Windsor and Essex County to collect donations and hand out our Woofstreet Journal to drivers at major intersections around the county.
The success of this campaign is directly related to the number of people we have collecting, so put together a team of friends, family or coworkers and join the fun!
