Snider, Donald Melvin “Don”
It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Don at the age of 75.
Cherished husband of Debra Kennedy-Snider (nee Abar) with whom he shared 27 years of marriage.
Loving step-father of Alisha (Derik) Bober and proud grandpa of Zachary and Zane.
Caring brother-in-law of Diane Wilson (Joe) and Wayne Abar and son-in-law of Rose Marie and Sheldon Abar.
Don is predeceased by his parents Ewart and Ivy Snider.
Don’s family would like to thank the staff at Erie Shores hospice and Dr. Ghafoor at the Windsor-Essex Cancer Centre for their exceptional care.
A very special thank you to Don’s sister-in-law Diane for her wonderful care, compassion and support.
Don’s free time was always spent on a golf course as he was an avid golfer of 56 years.
As per Don’s request, cremation has taken place and a private family service will take place at later date.

I am happy to see that my birth father found happiness and built a live of joy and memories with Debra, Alisha, Zachary and Zane. Although he chose to never be a part of my life, having left his first family fifty years ago, it eases that pain to see that he was surrounded by those who so obviously loved him for the last thirty years. So sorry for your loss.
