Albert Strysio

Our beloved dad passed away peacefully at Huron Lodge on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at the age of 99.
Albert was born in Germany and was the son of the late Johann and Frieda Strysio (nee Link).
Reunited with his loving wife of 68 years, Klara Strysio (nee Ristau) (2021).
Loving father of Ruth (John) Stewart and Rita Strysio (Mike McLeod).
Sadly missed by his grand daughter, Michaela Stewart.
Dear brother of Kurt, Herman, Willi, Elly, and Manfred, all still in Germany.

Dad retired from Dominion Forge after 25 years of service. He loved fishing and hunting, his coffee, chocolate chip cookies, and his “Special Medicine” (a shot of Whiskey), but most of all, he loved his family. He was a good man; a loving husband; a great dad and Opa.

A special thank you to his P.T., Blair Marshall, for keeping dad in top shape, and to the amazing staff at Huron Lodge, 4th floor, Sycamore Station who took exceptional care of him.

We will be forever grateful of the beautiful life mom and dad created for us.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 19, 2023, from 4:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. at Kendrick Funeral Home – Kingsville Celebration Centre, 91 Division Street South, Kingsville. A private family funeral service and burial will take place on Saturday.

Donations to the Ducks Unlimited Canada (PO Box 1160 Stonewall, Manitoba, Canada R0C 2Z0) would be appreciated by the family.
