GRUBB, Doug “Puffer”

Doug “Puffer” Grubb passed away unexpectedly at 73 years of age, surrounded by family on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at WRH Ouellette Campus. Beloved husband of Karen (nee Carlson) for almost 45 years. Loving Dad of Kelly Clark (Kevin), Thomas Grubb (Kim) and Holly Grubb. Proud Papa of Jordyn Clark (Jaydon), Madisyn Clark (Brendan), Tegan Grubb, Grady Grubb and Gannon Grubb.

Dearest brother of Elaine McDonald (late Ray), late Carol Authier (Gord), Karen Deyell and Marg Franklin (late Shorty). Dear brother-in-law of Bob Carlson (Andrea) and Gloria Courtney (Merv). Doug will also be remembered by his many nieces and nephews.

Puffer retired as a Captain of a Commercial Fishing Vessel with over 50 years of service. He was an avid sports fan, but most of all loved coaching many teams in hockey and baseball and watching his grandkids play.

Cremation has taken place. 

All are welcome to join the family for visitation on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at Reid Funeral Home, 14 Russell Street, Leamington (519-326-2631) from 2-4 pm  and 5pm until time of Memorial Service at 7:30 pm. John Cats officiating.
