Do you want to build a snowman? Well, it’s almost that time! Some people are worth melting for, some shows are worth waiting for.
Little Tomato Children’s Theatre is beyond excited to welcome everyone to join them on an adventure to the magical land of Arendelle on April 21-23.
This year’s production, Disney’s Frozen Jr. will take place at the Cardinal Carter Catholic Secondary School Auditorium, 120 Ellison Ave., Leamington.
This show features an amazingly talented cast of children ranging in ages from 5-18. The children are from all over Leamington, Kingsville, Wheatley, Windsor Essex and Kent counties.
The dedicated cast has been busy practising since October rehearsing twice weekly. Director Ruth Brown, music director Nola McQueen, and choreographer Hope Forman, along with a team of volunteers have come together once again to ensure that these little tomatoes experience the magic of theatre.
Sharon Clifford, LTCT President, as well as the producer of this show, along with the LTCT board of directors continue to do their utmost to fulfill the company’s mission statement of providing “theatre for children BY children.”
Several long time Little Tomatoes, as well as some new ones, have leading roles this year. The Ice Queen “Elsa” will be portrayed by Grace Sonoski (Cardinal Carter), with the role of “Anna” being played by Lauren DeYong (Kingsville District Secondary).
Other favourite Arendelle characters include Morgan DeYong as the goofy sweet snowman “Olaf,” Malia Afonso (Cardinal Carter) as the “bit of a fixer upper” ice harvester “Kristoff’,” Alyssa Caron (Cardinal Carter) as the furry endearing reindeer “Sven” and Molly Diemer (Essex Public) as the charmer Prince Hans.”
Mystical hiddenfolk, graceful dancing snowflakes, peppy peddlers, Oakens and a motley crew of beloved characters, make up the remainder of this fantastic cast.
