On January 19, 2023, at 8:19 p.m., members of the Kingsville Detachment Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were dispatched to a report of a suspicious person on a residential property in the Town of Kingsville.

Police arrived on scene and located a male inside a residence on the property.

As a result, Robert Chad HEARNS 49-year-of age of Leamington, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

·        Unlawfully in Dwelling House S. 349(1)

·        Assault a Peace Officer S. 270(1)(a)

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Windsor at a later date to answer to the charges.
