Ontario has updated its guidance on PCR testing to align with the current recommendations for who should receive Paxlovid – an oral antiviral treatment used to reduce severe outcomes from COVID-19.

Anyone with COVID-19 symptoms who meets the eligibility criteria, can receive a free PCR test to confirm diagnosis.
