The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Leamington Detachment has charged an individual following a report of a disturbance.

On January 5, 2023, at approximately 2:40 p.m., members of the Leamington OPP were dispatched to an address on Talbot Street East in the Municipality of Leamington, for the report of a disturbance.

As a result, a 58-year-old Ronald SAXON of Leamington was arrested and charged pursuant to the Criminal Code with:

·        Carrying concealed weapon S.90

·        Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose S.88

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges at a later date.
