The Holiday Season can be a magical time of year. But for those who are in need, it can also be a time of greater responsibilities and worry. When your resources just won’t stretch far enough, December brings along some heavy pressure.
Gift giving and laying out Christmas dinners and treats can be a dream come true when you can afford it. They are a nightmare when you can’t. Added to these seasonal challenges, dealing with heating costs and trying to dress for the cold make life harder right now.
The Kingsville Community Food Bank is here to help. They welcome any and all donations. And every month they create a list of particular foods they’re looking for.
Here’s this month’s Food Bank Needs list:
From the Food Bank’s Facebook page:
“The Kingsville Community Food Bank proudly serves Kingsville residents who may be experiencing food vulnerability. We offer perishable and non-perishable items as well as personal hygiene items to those who need a helping hand.”
The Food Bank also welcomes other types of donations as well. They’re happy to accept products for babies, pet supplies, laundry and dish detergent, toilet paper, paper towels, tampons, and more. They’re also looking for empty margarine tubs and jars with lids for dish and laundry soaps poured from large containers.
If you can help, the Food Bank would love to hear from you!
