Kingsville resident and Business owner, Dennis Rogers has announced that he will be running for town council in the upcoming October 24, 2022 election.

Mr. Rogers is a 41-year-old entrepreneur, business owner and is a dedicated husband and father of three children.

Having grown up in Kingsville and then moving back to the area about ten years ago he is active in the community through his business, Green Heart, that he leads with his wife Haley.

Dennis is familiar and concerned with the current issues and leadership affecting families, residents and businesses in Kingsville.

Mr. Rogers has assumed several local board positions that focus on community, such as parent council in his children’s schools, current President of the Kingsville Music Society (Kingsville Folk Festival) and current president of True Kingsville (local tourism group).

He is active in community donations when his business partnered with Ontario Student Nutrition Program, United Way and the local food bank to bring free food boxes and meals to families in need during the pandemic.

Mr. Rogers is new to politics and provides a fresh perspective with his business and community experiences, problem solving abilities and teamwork approach. Dennis is supportive of multiple local BIA’s and Chambers of Commerce, and is actively communicating with business leaders, political leaders, religious leaders and citizens concerned with the direction of Kingsville. He is also active in sports, including coaching two of his children’s baseball teams.

Mr. Rogers has a strong political message for the residents of Kingsville: “We are on the verge of true change in our municipality and we need strong leadership to balance future growth, the needs of our residents while keeping top of mind what makes this town great. I plan to bring real results and am not afraid to make the tough decisions.”

Mr. Rogers will be the leader that Kingsville needs to help balance growth while maintaining our small town feel, increase our town’s green space and help turn this municipality into a true town ‘On the Lake’.
