September is just around the corner and so is the 42nd anniversary of Terry Fox Runs across Canada. Once again participation for the Kingsville site will be a virtual and not an in-person event. Take part wherever you are!
If you wish to do an actual run you are welcome to visit the Tecumseh site.
The theme this year is “I’m Not a Quitter!!”
You can run or walk or bike. Maybe you’d like to rollerblade or urban pole. You can perform any activity, anywhere or anytime of the day you choose.
Think of what Terry went through on a daily basis as he averaged a marathon a day on his journey. Such dedication, determination and perseverance!
Certainly each one of us can devote some time, money and energy to honour our Canadian hero.
T-shirts are on sale at the Carnegie Arts and Visitor Center on Division all summer. Drop by and pick one up! They are $25 for adults and $20 for youth sizes.
Last year we raised almost $8000 in support of the Terry Fox Run for cancer research, and I hope that Kingsville and our neighbouring communities will take up the challenge and raise even more money this year.
This will be my 42nd year of participating and sponsoring the Terry Fox run and I’m proud to join with my MFit team again this year to collect pledges.
If you don’t have a team, you can join ours or make a donation.

You can:
- Register as a participant
- Create a team (family, friends, co-workers)
- Make a donation to our Kingsville site at Kingsville Terry Fox Run
Let’s make Terry and Kingsville proud!
