The Provincial ‘GO-VAXX Bus’ Mobile COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic will be in Leamington on Monday, May 2 and Tuesday, May 3. The GO-VAXX Bus is a safe and convenient way to receive a COVID-19 vaccination.
We encourage anyone who is eligible for a dose to visit the GO-VAXX Bus and get vaccinated. Staying up-to-date with your COVID-19 vaccinations continues to be the most effective way for our community to manage and live with COVID-19.
Where:
* The GO-VAXX Bus will be located in the parking lot of the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit’s Leamington Office at 33 Princess Street, Leamington.
When:
* Monday, May 2: 2:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
* Tuesday, May 3: 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Appointment/Walk-In Availability:
– Appointments are not required however are available and can be made online by visiting the Provincial Booking System at covid19.ontariohealth.ca, or by calling the Provincial Vaccine Booking Line at 1-833-943-3900, available 7 days a week from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
– Walk-ins will be accepted, while supplies last.
Who Can Get Vaccinated:
The Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine will be available for first, second, and booster doses for adults and youth ages 12 and older, as well as the paediatric Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for children aged 5 to 11. You can visit www.WEVax.ca to check if you or your family are currently up-to-date with your COVID-19 vaccinations.
Anyone who is being vaccinated is required to bring their health card. If your health card is expired or you do not have one, another form of government-issued photo identification such as a driver’s licence or passport is required.
