The video of last week’s information session for potential municipal election candidates is now available for viewing along with the presentations made at that session by municipal experts.
The video and presentations are available at countyofessex.ca/WEVote2022 along with other resources for anyone considering running in October’s municipal election.
The session on April 28 featured presentations by Ken Antaya, former Mayor and Chief Administrative Officer for the Town of LaSalle, as well as from representatives from Ontario’s Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing.
The municipal election will be held on Monday, October 24, 2022. The nomination period began on Monday, May 2, 2022, and the last day to submit your paperwork is Friday, August 19, 2022, at 2 p.m.
