Feedback Wanted for the County’s 2023-2027 Multi-Year Accessibility Plan

The County of Essex needs feedback from community members and stakeholders to assist in the development of its 2023-2027 Multi-Year Accessibility Plan.

Public input will help the County of Essex to continue to improve services to all residents and staff. The 2018-2022 Multi-Year Accessibility Plan, which provides background and information, is available on the county’s website.

The County of Essex is committed to meeting the accessibility needs of persons with disabilities in a respectful, equitable and timely manner, and will do so by preventing and removing barriers to accessibility and meeting accessibility standards set out in provincial legislation.

The county’s administrative team and the Essex County Accessibility Advisory Committee will review the feedback received during the preparation of the 2023-2027 Multi-Year Accessibility Plan, which will then be presented to county council for final approval.
