Winter Maintenance Update

The Town of Kingsville has ended the Significant Weather Event declared on Wednesday in anticipation of 48 hours of heavy snowfall. During a Significant Weather event, all roads and sidewalks maintained by the Town are considered to be in a “state of repair,” and maintenance may take longer than usual.

“We’re happy to say our staff will complete the entire road network before the end of the workday,” said Manager of Public Works and Environmental Services, Shaun Martinho. “Our staff are also working through sidewalks and cul de sacs, which they’ll finish within 24 hours.”

Kingsville and Cottam downtown cleanups are also scheduled for this evening. Drivers should continue driving for the conditions.
