Melinda was the beloved friend & former spouse of Todd, loving daughter of Helmut Klotz (Dorothy), beloved Mother of Sonnie (Kwami), Taylor (Allan) and Jordan (Jordan). Melinda will be deeply missed by all of her beloved ‘Glam-Babies” Dominek, Mason, Adriana, Kaleb, Eric, Kole and soon to be born Henry.
Melinda endured tremendous pain and suffering due to her lifelong condition – Marfan’s disease, and though we are deeply saddened, we are also at peace knowing that she is no longer suffering and God brought her to be home with Nanny, Uncle Guenter and other beloved friends.
Melinda passed away peacefully at Erie Shores HealthCare Centre on Tuesday, February 22nd, 2022 at the young age of 53. Melinda did not wish to have a funeral service and will be donated to the University of Toronto for medical research and later cremated.
There will be a Celebration of Life in her honour at a later date, as per her request. In lieu of flowers, please consider sending donations to the Marfan’s Foundation at https://marfan.org/donate/ in Melinda’s memory. It would be greatly appreciated by the family.
Rest easy Melinda. I remember all of the good laughs we had living next door.
I’ve known you a long time. Although we hadn’t spoken for years I often thought of you the your girls. I’m sadden to hear of this and questions arise. My condolences to all your loved ones . Till we meet again , I’ll be sure to give you that hug.
