News Release: Health Unit Provides Direction Amidst Provincial Delays in Contacting COVID-19 Cases
The Windsor-Essex County Health Unit would like to notify residents of Windsor-Essex that due to a high volume of cases across Ontario, the provincial service which provides assistance in contacting positive cases is experiencing delays.
If you are experiencing symptoms, believe that you have been exposed, or have tested positive (with either an at-home Rapid Antigen Test or a PCR test administered at an assessment centre) please isolate immediately and notify your close contacts. It is possible that you will not be contacted during your contagious period.
If you are unsure if this applies to you, take the COVID-19 Self-Assessment.

– shortness of breath (out of breath, unable to breathe deeply)
– decrease or loss of taste or smell
– for children under 18 years of age: nausea, vomiting and/or diarrhea
