Pet of the Week: Meet Lilo

Lilo, 2 years old

Have you ever heard of a “spicy cat?” Spicy cats are ones who may not have had much, or any human interaction. They might try to show you how tough they are, or may simply keep their distance. With patience and kindness, most may eventually decide that humans aren’t so bad. My adoption is currently FREE!

I’m Lilo and I’m what is considered a “spicy cat.” In fact, I’m so spicy my name should be Red-Hot-Chili-Pepper. I will weave through your legs to the point of being a trip hazard.

But don’t think I want to be pet … sometimes I do and sometimes I don’t. I’m like one of those carnival games–step right up and take your chances. The number of times I’ll let you stroke down my back and pet me is also a mystery. I’m just a big game of chance all around!

There are a few things that can’t be left to chance. I am not fond of other cats at all, there will be instant grumbles and it will only get worse from there. Because I’m so spicy, it’s best that I am not around children so an adult-only home with no other pets will be best for me (and for you too!). Visit Windsorhumane.org today to apply to adopt me!
