Are You Eligible for a COVID-19 Booster Shot?

Certain groups are now eligible to receive a COVID-19 booster shot if at least six months have passed since their last dose. For questions about eligibility, visit covid-19.ontario.ca/getting-covid-19-vaccine or contact the Provincial Vaccine Contact Centre at 1-833-943-3900.

Are you eligible to receive a booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine? You can book an appointment:

– through the COVID-19 vaccination portal
– by calling 1-833-943-3900
– directly through public health units
– at select pharmacies
– with Indigenous-led vaccination clinics

While the COVID-19 vaccine is highly effective, a booster dose provides an extra layer of protection against the Delta variant and waning immunity over time. Book your booster dose as soon as you are eligible to protect you, your loved ones and your community: Ontario.ca/bookvaccine

Starting Dec 13 at 8 a.m., individuals 50+ can book their COVID-19 booster dose appointment:

– at Ontario.ca/book-vaccine
– by calling 1-833-943-3900
– at select pharmacies
– with Indigenous-led vaccination clinics

Appointments will be approximately 6 months after a second dose.

Effective immediately, individuals receiving dialysis are eligible for a third dose of the COVID-19 vaccine if it has been at least 56 days since their second dose. Book your booster dose as soon as you are eligible: Ontario.ca/bookvaccine

Ontario is also recommending re-vaccination with a new COVID-19 vaccine primary series post-transplantation for individuals who receive:

– hematopoietic stem cell transplants
– hematopoietic cell transplants
– CAR-T-cell therapy
