Pumpkin Parade Made for a Perfect Evening on November 1st

Thanks Kingsville! It was a perfect evening for our walk amongst the pumpkins  in Lakeside Park.

I was amazed by the talent, creativity and artistry shown in the pumpkins on display. Here are just a few of the works of art we saw.

They included cats, witches, ships and a profile of Michael Jackson. We had pirates, ghosts, moose, bats and squirrels.

And of course there were plenty of traditional carved pumpkins.

There were 683 pumpkins donated to this year’s pumpkin parade!

Local livestock won’t feel left out. They will be enjoying the pumpkins now that the parade is over.

Kudos to Thomas Neufeld and his Community in Blooms Committee and all the Parks & Recreation staff from the Town of Kingsville who lent a hand.

The 2nd Kingsville Scouts and Ventures were also there to help with this great evening.

We appreciate all the residents and their families who came out to support the annual event.

And of course, where would we be without all the people who brought their pumpkins!

Marilyn Farnworth with Todd, Ryan and Hailey Bate enjoyed the Pumpkin Parade

With everyone working together, the Pumpkin Parade turned out to be a huge success.

Nobody went home disappointed and I look forward to participating again next year.

Who said Halloween ends on October 31st?
