Kingsville District High School Can Drive 2021 Begins Nov. 30

Kingsville District High School partners with the Goodfellows to aid in the community.

For generations, the Grade 12 Boys at Kingsville District High School have faced off against the Grade 12 Girls in an epic, annual battle to see who can gather more cans in support of the Goodfellows Can Drive. In all but a few years, it has been the girls who have lifted the coveted can-trophy and run the victory lap throughout the halls.

Although COVID-19 is still around, there are still ways that the cans can be collected. In addition to a school-wide competition, we are asking the public to drop off cans at one of two locations in Kingsville.

The community can bring their donation of cans or dry goods to the front circle of Kingsville District High School between 2:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. from November 30th to December 6th.

Alternatively Cycle Works, located at 20 Division Street North in Kingsville, will have a collection bin from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday to Friday, and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m, from November 22nd to December 6th.

Upon drop-off, donors will be able to choose to support the KDHS Boys in the competition or the KDHS Girls. We are looking forward to having some fun competition, and supporting our community at the same time.
