Kingsville Hosts First Annual Beauty Crawl on Friday October 29

UPDATED: There’s a location change for the Beauty Crawl due to rain. The Market is now at the Unico Community Centre on Beech Street.

Kingsville is pleased to hold its first annual Beauty Crawl on Friday, October 29, 2021, from 2 pm – 7 pm on the parquette next to the Carnegie Arts & Visitor Centre. A ‘Beauty Crawl’ is when a group of friends take a tour of beauty salons and fashion boutiques, with shopping available at each.

Participants receive a free Beauty Crawl Passport that leads to beauty and fashion boutiques, where they’ll find special offers and discounts on hair and makeup products and fashionable clothes and accessories. Anyone who fills out their Beauty Crawl Passport has a chance to win a grand prize, valued at $500.00.

The event concept was the vision of Colour Lounge owner Samantha George, who wanted to highlight the beauty and fashion industry in Kingsville and the surrounding area. October 29, 2021, is the anniversary of the Colour Lounge by Samantha George, 16 Division Street South, and the grand opening of her new business, The Beauty Boutique. There is a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Beauty Boutique, 122 Division Street South, at 1:00 pm before the Beauty Crawl begins.

“The pandemic has been challenging for our business community. The Beauty Crawl is an effort to support the tourism, hospitality and service sectors and generate local pride,” said Kingsville’s Tourism Coordinator, Natalie Cobby. “So gather your group and meet us at the Carnegie Arts & Visitor Centre parquette between 2 pm – 7 pm to participate in the first annual Beauty Crawl.”

In the event of rain, the location will move from the Carnegie parquette to the Unico Community Centre, 37 Beech Street. Become a vendor or request more information by emailing ncobby@kingsville.ca.
