We take our pumpkins seriously in Kingsville this time of year. Families make trips to local pumpkin patches to find just the right one (or more!) to take home and get creative.
Adults and children alike do their bit for the season by carving or painting jack-o’-lanterns. We transform pumpkins from this …

Half the fun is getting our pumpkins ready to present to the world. Then we put these home-made lanterns and other decorations on our porches and in our yards to fill the air with Hallowe’en spookiness.
After our neighbourhoods are dressed up for the season, the scene is set for our kids’ night of trick or treating.
Marilyn’s door all ready for Hallowe’en
But even after Hallowe’en has been and gone, Kingsville’s jack-o’-lanterns aren’t done yet. Not by a long shot!
Wondering what to do with your pumpkins after Halloween? Bring them to Lakeside Park on Monday, Nov. 1st for a Pumpkin Parade! Free tulip bulbs will also be given out at the drop off while supplies last.

Come back to Lakeside Park at the lower bowl between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. Enjoy the walk along the amazing lighted pumpkin trail hosted by the Kingsville Communities in Bloom and the Town of Kingsville.
And don’t worry! The jack-o’-lanterns will serve one more purpose. Local livestock will be enjoying the pumpkins after the parade is over.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
