New Regulations for Arena Access to Take Effect September 22, 2021

A new regulation which will affect how citizens access their local arenas has been released by the Province of Ontario and comes into effect on September 22, 2021.

Ontario Regulation 645/21, which is published under the Reopening Ontario Act, 2020, indicates that youth under 18 will be permitted to enter the arena if they are entering for the purpose of actively participating in an organized sport.

However, all persons aged 18 and over will be required to be fully vaccinated in order to enter the building. This includes parents, spectators and others who are involved in coaching sports.

Under this Regulation, the arena management will be required to ask each person entering the arena to provide proof of identification and of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 before allowing them to access the building.

A copy of the full regulation can be found here.

Ridiculous, how far are we gonna go with this insanity. How many years have we spent trying to abolish discrimination, segregation and racism. To let it all come back within a few months.if you feel this is different, maybe it’s time to rethink things. How embarrassing as a community to except this nonsense.Make it make sense.
