Have a Full Day of Cycling, Decorating and a Draw on September 11

This Saturday, September 11, 2021, get active and have fun with the Town of Kingsville.

At 10:00 am, join Bike Windsor Essex for another Community Ride, departing from the Carnegie Arts & Visitor Centre.

At 2:00 pm, bring your kids to the parking lot behind the library for a Bike Rodeo, led by Bike Windsor Essex, in participation with the OPP, CWATS and Kingsville Cycle Works. Your kids will have the opportunity to get their bikes checked, learn safety skills, and enjoy a fun obstacle course. No registration is required, but all participants must have bikes.

From 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm, kids can join the Arts Society of Kingsville for a bike decorating workshop on the green at the Carnegie Arts & Visitor Centre. Then show off their newly decorated bikes in the Bike Parade at 6:30 pm. To participate, line up at the Unico Community Centre, 37 Beech Street, starting at 6:15 pm. Adults and kids are welcome in the parade.

We’ll enter participants at each event into a draw for a chance to win one of four prizes consisting of a bike accessory provided by Kingsville Cycle Works and a family game.

It’s the last Open Streets of the season, so come out and enjoy some fun cycling, great food, and fantastic music starting at 6:00 pm, courtesy of the Kingsville Music Society.

The Town asks anyone watching the parade to avoid gathering in the centre of the road so that cyclists can get by.
