What’s New From Libby
If you’re a library user, you’re very familiar with OverDrive. It’s how you access our digital library collection. Libby is the newer app released by OverDrive a little while ago. Libby is a fast and attractive digital experience.
Libby is compatible with Android and iOS devices and can be used in the browser on computers and tablets. Libby is great if you just want to download a book to your Android or iOS phone or tablet. The “classic” OverDrive app still has a few more features so one shouldn’t replace the other.
So, what’s new on Libby? There’s two new databases that we think you might enjoy!
LearnItLive
Live and on-demand classes, quick tip videos, and programs for wellness and personal development. Learn It Live offers interactive, live video courses and thousands of recorded courses on health and wellness, spirituality, personal development, and more.
This unique service allows you to interact with top authors and expert instructors from around the world. Topics include cooking, nutrition, child care, financial wellness, fitness, yoga, mindfulness, meditation, stress reduction, and more.
ArtistWorks
ArtistWorks provides world-class instruction for the most popular string and band instruments through self-paced video lessons from professional musicians.
From acoustic to bluegrass guitar, banjo and rock! As always, it’s free with an Essex County Library card!

Our popular Crafts 2 Go kits are back for the summer. The only catch is that there’s a limited supply! Make sure you’re following us on social media for the release dates.
