The province is continuing to accelerate its vaccine rollout by expanding eligibility for second doses ahead of schedule.

Locally, individuals 18+ who received a first dose of an mRNA vaccine (Pfizer or Moderna) on or before June 2, 2021, are now eligible to book their second dose appointment at a mass vaccination site, participating pharmacy, or healthcare provider office that is administering vaccines.

Individuals who received a first dose of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine on or before May 5th, at least 8 weeks from first dose, are eligible to book a second dose appointment of AstraZeneca at a participating pharmacy or health care provider office OR an mRNA vaccine (Pfizer or Moderna) at a mass vaccination site, participating pharmacy, or healthcare provider office that is administering vaccines.

Youth 12-17 years of age who received a first dose of the Pfizer BioNTech vaccine on or before May 5, at least 8 weeks from first dose, are eligible to book a second dose appointment at a mass vaccination site, participating pharmacy, or healthcare provider office that is administering vaccines.
