Today is ‘Bell Let’s Talk’ Day

#BellLetsTalk, DAY

(ESSEX COUNTY, ON) – Today is “Bell Let’s Talk” Day. Bell Let’s Talk Day focuses on increasing awareness, reducing stigma and helping to change behaviours and attitudes surrounding mental health issues.

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) supports the efforts of collaboration to promote mental health awareness and positive action. Essex County OPP together with our Mental Health Response Unit would like to invite everyone to get involved in this great initiative.

Bell will donate to mental health initiatives with the use of a variety of their social media platforms. Visit us @OPPWEST on Facebook and @OPP_WR to see support messages from our members.

Glenn Miller, Detachment Commander, Essex County OPP states “We are fortunate to have dedicated members working within Essex County. Our specially trained members of the Mental Health Response Unit are an incredible resource for those in need. Help to break the silence around mental illness by generating conversation to further enhance our understanding of mental health issues.”
