Free Virtual Holiday Concert Features Area Children: Jingle All the Way!

We Wish you a Merry Christmas (Ensemble)

I’m a performer, choreographer, music theatre instructor, and I’m creating a free children’s virtual holiday concert in the hopes of spreading cheer to seniors and to the greater Windsor Essex community this holiday season!

I’m a University of Windsor Bachelor of Arts (Music) grad, now completing my final year at the faculty of Education. I’ve found a way for young artists to be able to connect with the community even during these most challenging times.

Silent Night (Grace)

Since children cannot perform in person at retirement and long term care homes this year, I’m editing and producing a virtual performance which will provide them with a wonderful way to reach out and share their inner sparkle with everyone in the community.

The virtual concert will feature beloved holiday classics performed by more than 20 talented children ranging in ages from 8-16, from Leamington, Kingsville, Harrow, Windsor, and even one all the way from Alberta.

This magical creation is intended to be a fun sing-a-long which will have everyone bursting out spontaneously in song. I’ve been putting together virtual performances since the onset of the pandemic utilizing the talents of children that I’ve encountered over the years as an instructor.

These fabulous, creative, musical theatre loving children, have once again managed to exceed all expectations when approached to perform.

The children were super-excited right from the start, finding their holiday spirit early in late October when they began recording their performances from the safety of their homes. These extraordinary children have gone all out, some decked in costumes and using props they have created all on their own.

Their concert will definitely be a treat sweeter than any candy cane ever tasted. This fun virtual holiday concert is free and open for all to enjoy!

Walking in a Winter Wonderland (Oscar)

It will be available on YouTube beginning on Friday December 4th at 6 p.m. A link will be posted on the Facebook event page: Jingle All the Way (A Virtual Holiday Concert)

During these most challenging, and potentially very lonely times, I believe the arts prove to be more essential than ever. The children’s inner sparkle and holiday spirit will prove to be contagious, showing us all that we can shine through whatever challenges may lie ahead for us this holiday season, and always.
