Blood Drive in Honour of Paisley: Blood for Life

It was every parent’s nightmare. Just before her second birthday in May of 2020, Paisley was diagnosed with high risk acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Within four months of treatment, though, she has received over 20 blood and platelet transfusions.

Blood donors give Paisley the chance to wake up healthier with every passing day. Because of blood donors, she will have the opportunity to beat cancer. Since leukemia is a cancer that affects blood cells, Paisley relies on these donations of blood as her lifeline.

She just would not be here without the continuous and selfless donations that people make every single day. Her parents, her family and the healthcare team saving her life all have greater peace of mind because of blood banks that are well supplied.

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Will you donate blood in honour of Paisley and all other children battling cancer? You can book your appointment today and support a local family in need.
