Kingsville Offers 2 Recreational Subsidy Programs for Qualifying Residents

The Town of Kingsville is pleased to announce two subsidy programs to support low-income individuals and families, making recreation programs more accessible to our residents.

Pathway to Potential (P2P), funded by the County of Essex and the City of Windsor Social Investment Plan, has provided financial assistance to low-income Kingsville residents for many years. It has recently rebranded to the Recreation Access Program. Eligible residents can receive up to 90% of the qualifying program costs.

Additionally, Kingsville has introduced its own subsidy program, called the Kingsville Recreation Fund, which draws from a pool of funds raised during the Mayor’s Spotlight on Business Golf and Dinner to assist individuals within a specific income range who do not qualify for the P2P discount program. This program covers 50% of qualifying recreational programs.

To determine your eligibility for either of these subsidy programs, visit the Support and Financial Assistance page on our website. You will need to complete a form and submit proof of income to complete your application.

“The Town of Kingsville is committed to making our recreation programs affordable for our community,” stated Kingsville Mayor, Dennis Rogers. “If program fees are a barrier, please review the eligibility requirements at kingsville.ca/recforall.”

If you have questions about these assistance programs and application processes, contact the Kingsville Arena at 519-733-2123 or email programs@kingsville.ca.
