A Day of Fun, Laughter and Healthy Competition at Rotary’s Golf Tournament

Organizing Committee Dave Jones, Rachel Dick Grover, Meghan Mulcaster Bolton, Cindy Silvius and Stacey Jones

Over 60 golfers came together on Monday, September 20th for a full day of fun, laughter and healthy competition. The Rotary Club of Kingsville Southshore was thrilled to host its second annual golf tournament at the Kingsville Golf & Country Club.

Thank you to our Title Sponsor, Sebastian, and the team at McGregor, Sims, Schmoranz Law Office, as well as our Southshore Sponsor, Ground Effects. Our thanks also go out to all other companies, organizations and golfers for such generous support. You were all integral in making this possible.

With approximately $20,000 raised, we continue to put into action Rotary’s goal to help our community and beyond.

Locally:

You’ll see us at the foodbank helping those in need. We also enjoyed providing some fun and games during our town’s Saturday night Open Streets.

Further, two students received our annual scholarships to help them along in their post-secondary journey. And soon, we’ll be excited to have a few water stations installed around town.

Beyond our local community:

We’ve partnered with ShelterBox to help provide support to those displaced by disasters, such as the latest hurricanes and wildfires.

Because of our sponsors, we are literally helping families survive when they have just lost everything.

Laurie Simpson, Debbie Lanigan, Darlene Graham and Michelle Reaume of MSS Lawyers

Thanks to all who helped make this a success, from sponsors to golfers, our volunteers, and the staff at Kingsville Golf & Country Club. We couldn’t do it without you!

We are happy to have so much fun, all the while knowing the proceeds can have such an impact.
