Pelee Island Winery is proud to announce a special partnership with the Windsor/Essex County Humane Society (WECHS) in celebration of the organization’s 100th anniversary.
Founded in 1926, the Windsor/Essex County Humane Society has spent a century providing compassionate care, shelter, and advocacy for animals across the region.
To honour this milestone, Pelee Island Winery has created a limited-edition collection of custom-labelled wines, with proceeds supporting the Humane Society’s ongoing mission.
This initiative builds on a long-standing relationship between Pelee Island Winery and the Windsor/Essex County Humane Society.
“This partnership is about celebrating an incredible local organization while giving our customers a meaningful way to give back,” said Connor Lepoidevin, Marketing Manager – Pelee Island Winery. “The Humane Society plays a critical role in our community, and we’re proud to support their next 100 years.”
Over the years, the two organizations have collaborated on a number of successful community-driven initiatives, including Pooches & Pinot and Pet Pics custom wine labels, collectively raising thousands of dollars in support of animal welfare in Windsor-Essex.
The commemorative lineup includes three fan-favourite varietals: Cabernet Merlot, Chardonnay, and Sparkling Secco, each featuring a unique label celebrating 100 years of animal welfare in Windsor-Essex.
As part of the initiative, $1 from every bottle sold will be donated directly to the Windsor/Essex County Humane Society, helping fund vital programs such as animal rescue, rehabilitation, and community outreach services. Each purchase directly contributes to providing shelter, medical care, and adoption support for animals in need.
The limited-edition wines will be available at Pelee Island Winery retail locations and online, while supplies last. To purchase the commemorative wines, visit: https://www.peleeisland.com/the-great-catsby-gala-wechs/
