Residents are encouraged to subscribe for emergency alerts and news notifications at kingsville.ca/subscribe.
The Town of Kingsville is updating how we share urgent public information. At the end of March 2026, our mass emergency notification system, known as “Kingsville Alerts,” will become inactive. The system has seen very limited use in recent years and is costly to license and challenging to keep updated.
The Town remains fully committed to keeping residents informed during emergencies and is streamlining communication tools to ensure residents receive timely, accurate updates through the methods they use most.
Updates will be shared in a variety of ways, including but not limited to:
- The news portal on kingsville.ca
- Website alert banner
- Town of Kingsville social media channels
- The Province’s Alert Ready system, when appropriate
“Emergency communication continues to be a top priority,” says the Town’s Community Emergency Management Coordinator and Assistant Deputy Fire Chief, Jeff Dean. “Our team is prepared, coordinated, and dedicated to ensuring the community receives essential information quickly and clearly.”
