A heartfelt thank you to Leamington United Mennonite Church (LUMC) for the incredible care they show to children in our community every single week.

Three days a week, LUMC prepares and serves meals to 450 students per day at Queen Elizabeth Public School. For many of these children, this is the only meal they will receive that day.

Many of these same students are also connected to SECC through our Junior Youth and After School Program hosted at LUMC – meaning this partnership reaches far beyond food. It provides stability, encouragement, and a safe space where children can learn, grow, and feel supported.

The need for children’s supports in our community is real – and it’s right here in our neighbourhoods. We are deeply grateful for partners like LUMC who step up in such practical and compassionate ways.
